Weekly Routine Inspection of Cooling Tower
Weekly Routine Inspection services will allow for an LCS representative to report to your facility on a weekly basis to perform the required tasks associated with NYC local law 77. LCS will perform a visual observation of the cooling tower equipment and associated components such as the chemical treatment stations. In addition to this, LCS will also monitor the chemicals in use, take a bacterial sample of the system, and notify necessary parties of when corrective action will be needed. An electronic report will be generated and sent on a weekly basis to be filed onsite by the responsible person. When weekly service is chosen, scheduled contracted services are taken into consideration. Weekly services for annual cooling tower systems are based on 48 weeks of operation and seasonal towers are based on 32 weeks of operation.
Electronic Water Quality Monitoring Service
LCS will provide you with a water quality monitoring device capable of recording the following water quality parameters mandated by NYC local law 77 for the duration of the service agreement. Conductivity, pH, Temperature, and Biocidal Indicators (ORP) are required to be recorded at a minimum of three times per week with no more than two days between monitoring while cooling tower is in use. When utilizing the automated controller, the results must be added to the log binder manually from the controller, written and/or printed out and added to logs. This service will allow you to bypass manually testing of the cooling tower and receive a daily report via email in which the facilities’ responsible person will need to add to your log binder and/or write in the appropriate location. Equipment provided and associated with this service will remain the property of LCS for the duration of this service agreement.
